Walk-In Showers in New Port Richey: Easy In, Easy to Clean

If you live in New Port Richey and the tub wall has started to feel tall, you are in the right place. A walk-in shower gives you a low step in, a seat if you want one, and bars to hold. It also means smooth, grout-free walls that wipe down fast and help reduce mold and mildew buildup.

New Port Richey is a historic rivertown in Pasco County, with the Pithlachascotee River running through the heart of downtown. Whether you live in Colonial Hills, La Villa Gardens or near Sims Park, the shower job itself follows one plan. The old tub or shower is taken out of the wet area, and a Jacuzzi® shower base and wall system goes in with a low or barrier-free entry. You pick the walls, the base, the fixture finish and any safety features. We have replaced two showers and one bathtub in New Port Richey. One of those showers, from 2023, has Quarry Topaz walls in a herringbone pattern, Brushed Nickel fixtures and a dual bypass door.

New Port Richey has a humid subtropical climate, and the Cotee River is a state paddling trail where manatees are seen. For the shower itself, the useful checks are inside your own home, and they take only a few minutes. Is the tub wall hard to step over now? Would a seat help you wash? Where would you want grab bars? Do you want a door, or an open entry you can walk right into?

Every shower is quoted in the home, because no two bathrooms match. The size and layout of the shower or tub space, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars all shape the quote. The free quote covers the product and its installation. Installs take in as little as one day, and few ever need a second. Questions on cost and tub removal have their own pages below.

You start with a phone call to set up a design visit. All homeowners are asked to be there for it. A designer comes out, listens to your wishes and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. You choose the colors, the finishes and the safety features you want. When you are ready, Love Your Bath schedules the install. On install day, the old tub or shower comes out, the new one goes in, and the crew goes over every detail with you.

Afterward, your bathroom has a shower you can step into without a second thought. Heather G. said, "Really happy all around with our tub to shower conversion." The same review noted that "the cleanliness during installation was impeccable." Your mornings start with a step in, not a climb over.
