How much to put a soaking tub where your shower is now?
Plain talk on shower-to-tub conversion cost in New Smyrna Beach, FL, and what drives it.
You want a tub you can sink into at the end of the day, or one that makes bath time easy for the grandkids. Whether your New Smyrna Beach home is on the mainland near Canal Street or across the water near the beach, the first question is the same. What will it cost?
It is a fair first question, and a web search rarely gives a straight answer. A shower-to-tub conversion takes out the shower, sets a tub in its place, and redoes the wall surround. The prices posted online come from homes that are not yours, with spaces and picks that are not yours either.
Your price is built from your bathroom. The size and layout of the shower space count. So does the tub, whether a classic alcove model or a deep soaker. The base, the wall style and finish, and the fixture finish each play a part. A seat, shelves or grab bars raise it. What the quote covers is the Jacuzzi® product and the install. Floors and vanities are not part of the job.
Take ten minutes this week to picture how you will use the tub. Soaking, bathing kids, or both? Note any extras. Then call Love Your Bath and set up a designer visit in New Smyrna Beach. The designer listens to what you want and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. One thing to skip: choosing a company off a price you found online. That number never saw your bathroom.
With the quote in hand, you can decide with real facts. You know the cost, you know what is included, and you can plan the rest. Installs take in as little as one day, and rarely a second. Martha B. said, "Everything was on time."
