A New Shower for Your Ponte Vedra Home, Not a New Bathroom
How shower replacement works in Ponte Vedra, FL, from picking finishes to the day the crew heads out.
Ponte Vedra is mainly a residential area, and if your bathroom is fine except for a tired shower, tearing the whole room apart feels like far too much. Shower replacement lets you change that one piece and leave the rest alone. You keep the floor, the vanity and the lights you already chose.
Shower replacement in Ponte Vedra is about fitting a new shower into a bathroom you already like. The old shower comes out, and a Jacuzzi® shower system goes in with a low basin, a stone or tile look surround and grout-free walls that help reduce mold and mildew buildup. Three showers have been replaced in Ponte Vedra, and each one shows how much choice there is. One from 2025 has Platinum walls in a carved stone pattern, Brushed Nickel fixtures and a dual bypass door. Another, from 2023, pairs Sandshell Beige walls in a 3x6 subway pattern with a pivot door.
Ponte Vedra, in St. Johns County, is primarily residential, with A1A running along the coast and the Guana Tolomato Matanzas reserve on its border. TPC Sawgrass hosts The Players Championship, and Sawgrass Country Club is a private club in Ponte Vedra Beach. The area is known for upscale homes with ocean views. None of that changes how a shower goes in. What to check in your own home is how the new walls, base and fixtures will sit beside the tile, cabinets and hardware you are keeping.
Every shower is priced in the home, because no two bathrooms are alike. The size and layout of the space, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars all move the number. The work stays in the wet area, so floors and vanities are not part of the job or the bill. Many installs finish in as little as one day, and a second day is rare.
It starts with a call to set up a design visit, with all homeowners there. A Love Your Bath designer comes to your home, listens to what you want, and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. You choose the colors, finishes and safety features. The shower is then made to your picks, and on install day the old one comes out and the new one goes in. Erik O. wrote that the team will "work with you on the design to get exactly what you want."
When it is finished, the bathroom looks like itself again, only now with a shower that suits it. The walls clean up with a quick wipe, the fixtures match, and nothing else in the room had to change. The cost, budget and one-day questions each get their own page below.

What people in Ponte Vedra say
"Had a Garden Tub to Walk in shower conversion . Tristan was the installer. He did this 2 day job by himself . I was very impressed with his skills during demo and install in a 3rd floor condo incased in concrete. He had to break out the jack hammer to complete the drain. Once completed the Shower is awesome. Thank you Paul G"
