Shower-to-Tub Conversion in Ponte Vedra: A Real Bath Again
How a shower becomes a tub again in Ponte Vedra, FL, from the first visit to the finished walls.
A tub can come back to a Ponte Vedra bathroom without touching the rest of the room. If your home has a shower and you miss a bath, for a long soak after a day on the Guana Trails, for little ones at bath time, or to help a future sale, a shower-to-tub conversion swaps one for the other.
It all starts with a free design visit at your home. All homeowners are asked to be there. The designer listens to what you want, then builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. Beayteza V. wrote that her designer "is a great Design Consultant and friendly."
On the job, the crew takes out the shower and sets a new Jacuzzi® bathtub in its place, with a new wall surround. The work stays inside the wet area, so your floors and vanity stay as they are. You pick a classic alcove tub or a deep-soaking tub. A slip-resistant surface, grab bars and built-in seating can be added.
Our three jobs on file in Ponte Vedra are shower replacements, and they show how much the walls can change a room. One from 2023 has Sandshell Beige walls in a 3x6 subway pattern with a pivot door. A 2025 job has Platinum walls in a carved stone pattern and a dual bypass door. For your tub, you choose the wall type, color and pattern, the base and the fixture finish.
Before the visit, think about who will use the tub. Is it for a child's bath, a long soak, or someone who wants a seat and grab bars? Your answers shape the quote, which is made in your home because no two bathrooms are the same. It depends on the size and layout of the space, the tub, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars. It covers the product and the installation.
Install takes as little as one day; some installs take a second day, rarely. Jodie M. called her installers "professional and courteous and personable." Call Love Your Bath to book your visit. Soon there is a tub where the shower was, with walls in the look you picked.
