Tub-to-Shower Conversion in Lakewood Ranch: What You Get
A plain guide to tub-to-shower conversion for homes in Lakewood Ranch, FL: the work, your choices and the steps.
Getting into the shower should not mean hoisting a leg over the side of a tub. If you live in Lakewood Ranch and that step has started to take more effort, a low-threshold shower in the same spot is worth a look. It changes how you get in and out and keeps the rest of the room the way it is.
For a Lakewood Ranch home, a tub-to-shower conversion is a focused job. The tub is removed, and a Jacuzzi® shower with a low entry goes in. Showers can be barrier-free, and very low-profile custom pans are made when the existing shape fits. You choose the walls, the base and the fixture finish, plus any seat, shelves or grab bars. The Jacuzzi brand has 110+ years behind it. We have replaced one shower in Lakewood Ranch, in 2025, with Alabaster walls in a subway pattern, Brushed Nickel fixtures and an Alabaster White base.
Lakewood Ranch is a planned community in Manatee and Sarasota counties, east of I-75. It has more than 150 miles of trails, and Main Street, home to Lakewood Ranch Cinemas, serves as its town center. The median age was 52.3 at the 2020 census. Your bathroom is its own story, though. Look at who steps into the tub each day, whether a built-in seat would be welcome, and where a grab bar would feel natural.
Each shower is quoted in the home, since no two bathrooms are the same. The price follows the size and layout of the space and your choices of base, walls, fixture finish and extras. The free quote includes the product and the installation. The work stays in the wet area, so floors and vanities are not touched. If cost or permits are on your mind, those questions have their own pages below.
You start by reaching out to Love Your Bath for a free design visit. A designer comes to your home and listens to what you want. Trish D. called the free in-home design consultation "very informative and fun." From there, the designer builds a custom plan with options and a free quote, and you pick your colors and finishes. On install day, the crew takes out the tub and sets your new shower.
When the crew finishes, they go over every detail with you and activate your lifetime warranty. It covers you for as long as you own the home. What is left is a shower you can walk into without a second thought.

What people in Lakewood Ranch say
"From my initial conversation at Costco to our sales rep visit with Mike and finally with our installer, Jodeci, we had a wonderful experience. We had a bathtub to shower remodeling done. All of them were courteous, professional and most importantly, honest. Jodeci, came in and did his work. While here, he kept the bathroom area clean by using fans, open windows and keeping doors shut. He kept us in the loop as to what he was doing along the way. By the time he finished, the new shower was exactly as promised. Thank you Jodeci for a job well done. I would recommend this company for any future remodels."
"kevin and tyler did a great job with my install, will definitely tell all of my friends!"

"I replaced a shower that had been installed by another local company several years ago. It leaked and they would not not stand behind their warranty. The replacement showered by love your bath is far superior to the original one I think the quality is far better. They did a great job with installation and it was done at a fair price. I would highly recommend them."
"I recently had my bathtub converted into a walk-in shower, and Joselito and his team did an outstanding job. From the moment they arrived, it was clear they took pride in their work. The team was punctual, respectful of my home, kept the workspace clean, and extremely thorough throughout the entire process. The quality of the work is excellent, and the new shower looks and functions beautifully. My wife and I are so happy with how everything turned out and would highly recommend them for any bathroom renovation. Thanks again for a job well done!"
"New shower looks great, brightens the space and enhances my homes value. Both Joselito and Garcia worked hard for several hours, they were polite and very professional. When done they cleaned up the bathroom and throughout the process they kept me informed of what was happening. Very pleased with the product."
